The Lindsey O. Kesling Orthodontic Resident Scholarship Award is offered exclusively to residents of the GLAO programs. TP Orthodontics, Inc., in partnership with the GLAO sponsors this yearly scholarship opportunity.

Lindsey had just graduated from Indiana University and was beginning a promising career in the orthodontic industry when accidental exposure to carbon monoxide ended her life at the age of 22. Her great-grandfather Dr. Harold D. Kesling founded TP Orthodontics, Inc., which is still owned by the Kesling family today.

Every day and all through their careers, the hands of an orthodontist will create self-confidence in young people. One of Lindsey's passions was to help young people realize their potential. The Lindsey O'Brien Kesling Scholarship Fund was created to give back to the orthodontic community in a way that helps residents, by easing a small part of their financial burden, while encouraging them to participate in humanitarian efforts.

Each year, up to a total of $10,000 will be awarded among scholarship recipients. Since inception of the Lindsey O. Kesling Orthodontic Resident Scholarship program in 2017, over $69,500 has been awarded. Scholarship recipients will be announced during the GLAO Annual Session.

The Lindsey O. Kesling Orthodontic Resident Scholarship 2024 Award Recipients Announced

 

TP Orthodontics, Inc. in partnership with the GLAO, offers scholarships to residents attending orthodontic programs in the GLAO region. The Lindsey O. Kesling Orthodontic Resident Scholarship Award was created by TP Orthodontics, Inc. to give back to the orthodontic community in a way that helps residents, by easing a small part of their financial burden. Applicants submitted an essay on humanitarian / volunteer efforts made by the resident during their years of attendance at their orthodontic residency program.  Since 2017, a total of $79,500 has been awarded in scholarships and $20,000 in TP Orthodontics product vouchers distributed.  Thirty-one residents have received scholarships, to date.

We are pleased to announce the following recipients of the 2024 Lindsey O. Kesling Orthodontic Resident Scholarships:
